Identify a “wicked problem,” then use graphic design solutions to produce a campaign that encourages a response.

For this project, I created a poster and five deliverables that aimed to encourage college students to care about their mental health. The five deliverables were designed around the poster, which is the centerpiece of the campaign.

The campaign encourages college students to prioritize their mental health through evaluation and support. Using the imagery of cardboard shipping boxes, the campaign draws a parallel between caring for physical packages and caring for one’s mental well-being. This relatable metaphor helps students understand that just as packages need careful handling and care, so do our minds. The cardboard box metaphor makes the campaign’s message relatable and easy to understand, emphasizing that mental health deserves the same care as physical packages. The vibrant color palette and playful design attract attention and create a welcoming vibe, reducing the stigma around mental health discussions.
